100th Annual Greeley Stampede Champions

GREELEY, CO. – Rodeo fans were welcomed back to the first of six for the Greeley Stampede’s PRCA ProRodeo Series sponsored by JBS with today’s rodeo sponsor Chevron. Not only were rodeo fans wowed with top rodeo athletes, they also had a chance to watch special performances by the trick riding team, Magic in Motion.

Listed as a Top-25 Pro Rodeo according to purse size, the Stampede is famous for having a topnotch performance and contestants. The Greeley Stampede Rodeo now features nine exciting events during every performance: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin, Bull Riding and the Breakaway.

The action continues tonight at the 100th Greeley Stampede with the Stone Temple Pilots concert in the arena and Chingy with the Ying Yang Twins on the Civitas Park Stage. If you missed today’s rodeo action, be sure to come out tomorrow for day two of the series presented by Renaissance Insurance.
