WEST LINN Ore. – The U.S. Attorney’s Office has charged a man from West Linn with illegally possessing machine guns and other weapons.

Lucas Christopher Perillo, 41, is accused by authorities of illegally possessing unregistered short-barreled rifles and machine guns.

According to court records, on June 17, the FBI carried out a search warrant at Perillo’s residence and seized 36 firearms in total, including 13 short-barreled rifles, three firearms modified with machine gun switches, silencers, and other components.

Guns can be made fully automatic or semi-automatic by using machine gun switches.
