WNBA Star Napheesa Collier Inks Groundbreaking Deal with Jordan Brand

The 2025 WNBA season officially tips off on Friday, May 16. But before the action began, one of the league’s biggest stars had a major announcement.

Napheesa Collier, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, revealed that she has signed a deal with Jordan Brand.

“Joining the Jordan Brand family means becoming part of a legacy that constantly pushes the limits of what’s possible in basketball,” Collier said in a statement. “This partnership is special because it links what I do on the court with a bigger purpose beyond the game. When young girls see that iconic Jumpman logo, I want it to inspire them to dream even bigger.”

Collier is no stranger to success — she’s a four-time WNBA All-Star and a 2024 Olympic gold medalist.

Although her team, the Minnesota Lynx, came up short in last season’s WNBA Finals against the New York Liberty, Collier and the Lynx are coming into this season with something to prove.

They’ll kick off their 2025 campaign on Friday night in a primetime matchup against the Dallas Wings, featuring No. 1 overall pick Paige Bueckers. The game takes place at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ION.
