At 2:47pm on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, the Sheridan Police Department responded to a report of an accident with injuries at the intersection of W. Loucks and S. Brooks Streets.
Officers discovered that a 95-year-old man using a motorized wheelchair was struck by a semi truck while on the road.
The man was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital.
On Monday, August 18, 2025, investigators learned that the victim had died as a result of the collision’s injuries.
The victim’s identity is not being disclosed at this time.
