COLUMBIA, Mo. – Two people were arrested on Thursday following a drug search warrant at a Jefferson City home.
Aaron Mosley, 33, and Christopher Knox, 38, were arrested and charged with second-degree drug trafficking.
According to court documents, the search warrant was executed at an apartment on Elm Street.
Police reported discovering a bag containing three smaller bags, each containing methamphetamine.
According to the documents, the three bags weighed approximately 88 grams in total. Police said the bag contained mail addressed to Mosley and Knox.
Officers discovered a scale containing drug residue in the bedroom.
According to police, Mosley was in the bedroom during the search warrant. He allegedly possessed four white pills, later identified as Oxycodone.
Knox’s wallet was allegedly discovered in another bedroom of the apartment.
When Knox was arrested, officers discovered a loaded handgun on his person.
Documents state: Mosley is currently on probation for previous drug charges.
Knox is currently housed in the Cole County Jail, according to online records. Mosley was not listed as being in custody at the facility.
