Highs are forecast to reach the mid-80s in cities such as Pittsburgh, Washington, and Wheeling, while higher-elevation locations like Terra Alta and Davis in West Virginia will remain cooler, with temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

Warmest Conditions in Ohio

Forecasters predict that cities such as Zanesville, Cambridge, and New Philadelphia in Ohio could experience the warmest conditions, with highs near 87 degrees. Meanwhile, mountain communities like Davis, WV, may stay cooler, with temperatures around 72 degrees.

Stable Weather for Travel

The dry and stable weather pattern will provide favorable conditions for travel across western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and eastern Ohio. No rain is expected, making for a clear day on the roads. However, commuters and outdoor workers are advised to be mindful of the afternoon heat, particularly in urban and lowland areas, where highs will approach 85 degrees.
