Following a shooting near King Soopers in Cheyenne on Saturday night, one person died and another was in custody, according to the latest reports.
This is according to a Facebook post by the Cheyenne Police Department.
As of 6 a.m. Sunday, neither the name of the deceased nor the suspect in custody had been disclosed.
Police Were Called To The Scene A Little After 9 p.m.
According to the post, officers responded to a complaint of shots fired at 9:06 p.m. in the 3700 Block of Dell Rage, near King Soopers.
When police arrived, they discovered one victim with a gunshot wound, who was later pronounced deceased at the site.
A second person, thought to be the suspect, was arrested. Police say they do not feel there is any additional threat to public safety.
