This past weekend, Central Wyoming College hosted the Rustler Roundup rodeo, which featured high energy and fierce competition in Riverton.
The Sheridan College Generals Rodeo Teams featured outstanding performances from student-athletes across a variety of events.
According to SC Head Coach Bobby Harris, the men’s team finished in second place overall, while the women’s team finished seventh, indicating a successful performance for both squads.
“The team is working hard and keeping up with tough competition. I’m very proud of how our students step up and demonstrate the skills we’ve been working on in practice every day,” said Coach Harris. “Jake Schlattmann won his first college rodeo this weekend, and we are so proud of him. Tyon Arneson and Emmett Sortum won the Team Roping as first-year freshmen, which is also a significant accomplishment.
