A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service’s Cheyenne Office for the southeast Wyoming Snowy Range Mountains.
Higher elevations could see 4 to 8 inches of snow, according to the agency. Additionally, a Freeze Watch has been issued by the agency for the Laramie and Rawlins area.
The agency posted the following on its website: ”Accumulating snow is expected for higher elevations of the Snowy Range with amounts of 4 to 8 inches possible. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 12AM until 6PM Tuesday. Use caution if traveling via WY 130 over the Snowy Range tonight and Tuesday.”
