(Casper, WY) – According to a recent online survey, Casper, Wyoming is one of the best places in the country to retire.
WalletHub collected data from hundreds of large and medium-sized communities across the country. Casper ranked tenth overall and first in terms of retiree affordability.
Casper performed less well in categories such as activities and quality of life, but still ranked in the top 75 nationally in the majority of them.
Orlando, Florida took first place overall, followed by Scottsdale, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Cheyenne, Wyoming also represented the Cowboy State, ranking 32nd on the list of the best places to retire. The affordability theme continued, with Cheyenne being named the third most affordable city in the United States.
