COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY — The Monroe County District Attorney confirmed that a man was shot in the head during a road rage incident on Interstate 380 on Tuesday morning.

According to District Attorney Mike Mancuso, Tatiana Divina Peterson, 39, of Tobyhanna, pulled alongside another car and fired multiple shots while both were in motion, one of which struck the victim in the forehead.

The incident happened on I-380 northbound near mile marker 8.5 in Coolbaugh Township. According to the district attorney, Peterson admitted to firing the gun into the victim’s car.

According to the district attorney, the victim was able to pull over on the shoulder and was transported to the hospital. Police discovered several bullet holes in the victim’s truck’s front passenger area.

Peterson has been charged with criminal attempt to commit homicide and other related offenses.
