An Ohio man accused of shooting a pub patron with whom he was feuding allegedly boasted and laughed about the incident while in jail.

Jacob Brady, 27, was charged with assault and carrying a concealed weapon after an altercation at a Dayton pub. According to court documents reviewed by Law&Crime, Dayton Police responded to reports of gunfire at Pat’s Bar in the early morning hours of June 22.

When police arrived, witnesses reported that someone had been shot, and a barman provided video evidence.

According to police, Brady allegedly shot the 23-year-old man, whose name we do not know, because he was dating a woman Brady desired. Witnesses told police that the woman had no desire to associate with Brady.

According to local NBC affiliate WDTN, the alleged victim took a ride-share to the hospital, where he was reported to be in critical condition.

According to court documents, Brady admitted to shooting the man, claiming that he did so because the other man was making threats. Witnesses at the bar disagreed, telling police that they did not hear any threats made by the alleged victim.

According to court documents, the bartender’s security video captured Brady allegedly firing two rounds at the victim. Casings were also found at the pub where the alleged shooting occurred.

After Brady was arrested and booked into Montgomery County Jail, police said he was “laughing” about the incident, and other inmates heard him say, “I’m gonna put that on a t-shirt — ‘BLAM, that boy down.'”

Brady is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $250,000 bond. He was charged with felonious assault, possession of a concealed weapon, and two counts of probation violation.

His next court date is set for July 3.
