Double Up Food Bucks Program
The Double Up Food Bucks program helps families stretch their CalFresh benefits when buying fresh fruits and vegetables. For every $1 spent, recipients get $1 extra, up to $60 each month. These additional funds are loaded onto the EBT card for future purchases.
This program is available at participating stores like Food Co and markets affiliated with Double Up California. The program is designed to provide direct support for accessing healthy foods. In summer, families with children enrolled in school meal programs may receive $120 extra per child.
