(WBRE/WYOU) — In a serious reminder of the consequences of irresponsible behavior, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has banned a woman—reportedly with ties to Wyoming—from gambling after she left her seven-month-old twins alone in a parked car.
According to officials, the woman left her infants unattended in the valet area of the Valley Forge Casino Resort for approximately five minutes while she went inside to cash out at the sportsbook.
She is one of 14 individuals recently banned from gambling by the PA Gaming Control Board. Of those, five—including this case—were disciplined for leaving minors unattended while gambling. The Board emphasized that any adult caught leaving children unsupervised in casino parking lots, hotels, or other venues will face similar penalties.
The remaining nine individuals were placed on the Board’s Involuntary Interactive Gaming Exclusion list for various fraudulent actions involving online gambling.
The Gaming Control Board continues to stress the importance of protecting minors and upholding the integrity of gaming across state lines, including in states like Wyoming, where similar standards apply.
