A Columbia man is being held without bond after deputies discovered fentanyl and methamphetamine in his apartment and on his person.
Keyon Midgyett, 31, was arrested last Wednesday and charged with second-degree drug trafficking and possessing a controlled substance.
Boone County deputies executed a drug search warrant at Midgyett’s apartment on James Dale Road in northeast Columbia on Wednesday morning.
During the raid, deputies recovered 10.5 grams of methamphetamine, two scales containing fentanyl residue, and fentanyl capsules.
Midgyett had left the apartment just before the raid. He was arrested shortly after, during a traffic stop. During the stop, a deputy found 1.5 grams of fentanyl on Midgyett.
