ST. GEORGE, Utah – Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin “hates conservatives and Christians,” according to one of his family, who spoke with Fox News Digital.

According to the relative, the 22-year-old was in a romantic connection with suspect Tyler Robinson, who is also 22. He has not been charged and his identity has not yet been disclosed by investigators. She stated that he is currently changing from male to female.

The woman, who requested anonymity, told Fox News Digital that her relative began acting differently after turning 18 and acquired a hate for Christians and conservatives.

“He despises conservatives and Christians,” the relative explained. “He loathed us. He was not reared that way, but over time, he has gotten very disconnected [and] radicalized.”

“He has obviously gotten progressively worse over the last year or two,” the relative added, adding that he is “always very angry.”

The relative feels Robinson’s politics were affected by his partner during their year-long relationship.

“I believe Tyler’s behavior has deteriorated significantly during their year of dating. They are avid gamers, and it is clear that they have a group that influences both them and others. But my intuition tells me [the roommate] did most of the influence,” the relative stated.

“Everybody in my family wants justice to be served and wants no part in this and wants whoever is involved in whatever way to have to pay for that,” according to the relative.

An FBI official told Fox News Digital that Robinson’s roommate had been “extremely cooperative” and claimed he “had no idea” of Robinson’s alleged plans to assassinate Kirk.

Robinson and his roommate shared an apartment in St. George, Utah, where both families live.

It was Robinson’s father who turned him into authorities after he recognized his son in surveillance videos that the FBI released, a law enforcement source earlier told Fox News Digital.
