A man was killed in Northern Kentucky after being hit while pushing a broken-down car; four others were injured

MASON COUNTY, Ky. – A man was killed in Northern Kentucky when he was hit while pushing his car.

Brian Huron, 62, was struck and killed Friday evening while attempting to push his broken-down red Chevrolet Corvette off the road near the 4000 block of KY-10 in Mason County.

According to authorities, Huron was struck by a man driving a black Chevrolet Trailblazer with two passengers, who then continued driving and collided with a woman driving a black Toyota Camry.

Kentucky State Police were called to the scene around 7:45 p.m. Huron was pronounced dead on the scene.

Three people were transported to Meadowview Hospital, and one was airlifted from the scene to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The collision remained under investigation.
