CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cloudy skies and rainy conditions are expected to begin the week in Wyoming’s capital, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Monday is expected to begin with cloudy skies, followed by showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon. The NWS in Cheyenne predicts 70% scattered rainfall.

Otherwise, the day is expected to be cloudy with a high of around 71 degrees. Wind speeds of up to 30 mph are also expected.

The precipitation should continue into the night, with the chance increasing to 80%, and temperatures are expected to drop to around 41 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, the rain will continue into Tuesday, with another 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

It should also be slightly cooler, with a high of 57 expected. Wind speeds greater than 30 mph may make it feel even cooler.
