Investigators are looking into what caused a single-vehicle rollover crash that killed the driver.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Kayla Green, 36, was driving her Buick Rainer northbound on I-25 in Buffalo shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3rd, as she approached the I-90 interchange.

She was initially in the left lane before abruptly steering hard to the right, entering a broadside, driver-side leaning slide, going off the right side of the road, and sliding into a barrow pit.

The vehicle collided with a drainage ditch and rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on its roof.

According to the Patrol, Green was not wearing her seatbelt and died as a result of the crash.
