These options make the city one of the stronger markets for housing assistance in Wyoming, with several hundred units set aside for individuals and families meeting HUD income limits.
Section 8 and Waiting Lists
The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, overseen by the Rock Springs Housing Authority, remains a cornerstone resource for local residents. The Section 8 waiting list is currently open, giving eligible families access to critical rental support.
