At a special meeting, the Fremont County Commission will establish mill levies. Monday; Tuesday is the scheduled regular meeting

(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 4, at 9 a.m., in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.

The meeting’s tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes establishing a mill levy for fiscal year 2025-2026.

The commission will also convene the Board of Equalization for 2025 property tax assessment contested cases, including the following dismissal order:

Wyoming Catholic College

Aethon Energy Operating, LLC

SageWest Health Care

MPT of Riverton, LLC

Regular meeting

The regular commission meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at the same location.

The tentative agenda for the regular meeting includes a Zoom interview with Paul Hoverson by the Recreation Board.

The commission will also consider a personnel request from Library Director Anita Marple, as well as John Kidwell’s emergency alert siren and Maralyne Middour’s historic preservation concerns.

Following a break, the commission will hold a Zoom discussion with Melinda Cox, the clinical supervisor.

Both of this week’s meetings are open to the public in person and will be live-streamed on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, which also hosts previous meeting recordings.
