Four Sheridan High School runners combined their “differences” to become one of the best in the United States.

The Sheridan High School Boys 1600 meter Sprint Medley Relay Team, which included Chance Morris, Maddax Jarvis, Rudy Green, and Ryder Charest, won the 2025 Nike Outdoor National Track and Field Meet in Eugene, Oregon.

Their time was 3 minutes, 32.41 seconds, and they won by 0.52 seconds.

Runners compete in the 1600 meter Sprint Medley Relay at various distances.

The first two runners run 200 meters each (half a lap), the third runs 400 meters (1 full lap), and the final runner runs 800 meters (2 full laps).

Jarvis and Charest were part of the Broncs’ 4A Boys State Champion 1600 SMR relay team at the Wyoming State Meet in Casper, alongside Gabe Perkins and Garrett Otto.
