The fog is expected to last until 10 a.m. Wednesday, with a similar situation on Friday morning. Afterward, skies will gradually clear, leading to mild summer afternoons.

According to the National Weather Service in Eureka, the cloud cover will gradually decrease throughout Wednesday, with sunshine breaking through by the afternoon. Daytime highs are expected to reach around 63°F, with light west winds of 5 to 7 mph.

Fog could significantly reduce visibility, especially between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. on both Wednesday and Friday. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time during morning commutes and use low-beam headlights for safety. Conditions will remain mostly cloudy at night, with overnight lows around the low 50s.
