Casper Police officers conducted a traffic stop yesterday near the intersection of 13th and Poplar streets.
According to CPD, the driver of the vehicle was known to have an active warrant.
K9 Barry performed a free-air sniff around the vehicle. He detected the presence of narcotics, providing probable cause for a search. During the search, officers discovered approximately 16 grams of methamphetamine and other controlled substances.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect allegedly delivered drugs to a Casper home earlier that evening.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the residence and discovered multiple people, additional amounts of methamphetamine, other controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.
This investigation resulted in the arrest of six adults on a variety of drug charges.
Five of the individuals are facing one or more recommended felony-level possession charges.
