Show Results:

On September 15, 16 & 17, CSSHA held its “Top Gun, Take Flight” 4th & 5th CSSHA Club Shows as part of the 20^th Anniversary Versatility Ranch Horse Show Series. Show results and year-end awards should be on the CSSHA website and Facebook page, and in the next issue of the Wrangler. 

On Saturday, Sept. 16 CSSHA held its 20th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Series Awards at the Fremont County Fairgrounds after the Saturday CSSHA Versatility Horse Show. They presented the CSSHA Hall of Fame, Most Improved, and Volunteer of the Year awards. 

CSSHA also held its annual meeting Sept. 16, which included election of officers and board members for 2024. Results of the year-end awards, Sept. 16^th annual meeting, dinner, and election of officers will be shared soon after the show and meetings.

Cowboy State Stock Horse Association News:

The Cowboy State Stock Horse Association celebrates 20 years as an active club in 2023. Our association is known for hosting many cow horse and stock horse events in Wyoming year-round. We want to thank our 2023 club sponsors: Quickspace and Rocky Mountain Agronomy.

CSSHA Club Fall/Winter Practices and Jackpots:

Thanks to Rod and Pam Rivers who are working on the fall/winter schedule for the club’s Central Wyoming College weekend practices and jackpots in Riverton, WY. Mark your calendars for the dates for CSSHA’s CWC weekend events!

CSSHA Club Info:

Club Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday evening of each month in Riverton WY, and a Zoom link is provided to call in for members outside of the area. Sometimes the meeting date and location changes, so check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date info. Thursday, October 5 is planned to be our next club meetings, starting at 6:30 pm in Riverton at Scott Ratliff’s home. 

We are always looking for more photos for our updated website of our members showing, practicing, and riding at our events. Please send your good photos to Jori at joriskaggs@gmail.com.

Membership: Individual CSSHA club memberships are still $20/year for 2023. A family membership is only $25/year. You can add a subscription to The Wrangler Magazine with your membership. Pay at an upcoming CSSHA event, meeting, or mail a check to CSSHA at PO Box 1981, Riverton, WY 82501.
