Wow, what a great start to the new year! Despite winter weather and closed roads CWCC had almost 200 runs at the January cutting!

Congratulations to the January Never Won a Cutting buckle winner Kaitlyn Snyder. Congratulations to our weekend circuit awards winners: Deb Simpson in the $10,000 amateur class, Lynn Moore in the $50,000 amateur class, and Michelle Musselman in the $35,000 Non Pro class. Our judge was
Brian Anderson from Idaho.

There will not be a make-up show for the show cancelled in December. To be eligible for yearend awards you will need to attend 5 shows.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR with our cutting dates: February 17-19, and March 16-18. Please note that the March show is Thursday, Friday, Saturday with awards presented on Saturday, March 18 at the end of the show. Join us for quality cutting in a fun and friendly environment with good ground and good cattle held at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds in Thermopolis, Wyoming.

Cutting class order and start times: Friday starts at 2:00 P.M. with the open two handed class followed by the $1000 novice horse class’ two go rounds of each class. Saturday and Sunday start at 8:00 A.M. with the open, nonpro, youth, $15,000 novice horse, $15,000 novice horse nonpro, $50,000 amateur, $35,000 nonpro, $5,000 novice horse, $5,000 novice horse nonpro, $10,000 amateur, nonpro rancher class, $2,000 limited rider, and Never Won a Cutting Buckle class.

Make your stall reservations by calling 307-921-1219. Fresh cattle practice Fridays at 10:30 A.M. Rerun cattle practice Friday nights. The Host hotel is the Hot Springs Hotel. Call 307-864-3131 and ask for the “cutters rate”.
