President Donald Trump warned Iran that if it does not make peace with Israel and the US, it will face “far greater” attacks.

Trump made the comments in the White House’s East Room, just hours after announcing that the US had bombed three nuclear sites in Iran, which had previously been attacked by US ally Israel.

“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace,” Trump told the country. “If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.”

Trump claimed that Iran has been calling for the death of Israel and America for years. He has previously stated that Iran cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

“There will either be peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days,” the president stated. “Remember, there are still many targets left. Tonight’s was by far the most difficult, and potentially the deadliest.”

“But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill,” according to him. “Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes.”

“There’s no military in the world that could’ve done what we did tonight,” he told the audience. “Not even close.”
