Cheyenne, Wyoming – On day five of the trial, Douglas Smith was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder.
On July 20, 2015, George Manley and Dwight Brockman were killed inside the Lincolnway Coin Shop.
Smith was the first 911 caller and was not arrested until 2024.
According to the evidence, he is the only witness at the crime scene.
After nearly seven hours of deliberation, the jury returned to the courtroom on Friday afternoon to deliver its verdict.
This verdict is almost exactly ten years after the murders.
