by HUNLOCK CREEK, LUZERNE COUNTY (WOLF) — A tragic crash in Luzerne County has left a 21-year-old man from Dalton dead after his car collided with a modular home being transported on Route 11.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 7:15 a.m. on Monday, just east of the Retreat Bridge in Hunlock Township.
Troopers reported that Sebastian Shepherd, the driver of the car, veered into the southbound lane and crashed into an International Trailer carrying a modular home. Sadly, Shepherd was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the incident.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
