Greeley Stampede crowd goes pink for third performance

Greeley Stampede donates more than $26-thousand during Tough Enough to Wear Pink night during the third performance.

GREELEY, CO – It was Tough Enough to Wear Pink night presented by Banner Health at the Greeley Stampede as every shade of magenta filled the arena for the third of the PRCA ProRodeo Series sponsored by JBS. During Tough Enough to Wear Pink night at the rodeo, the Greeley Stampede works to raise funds for the Banner Health Mammography Fund through ticket and t-shirt sales as well as donations. Along with the Ranack Cares Foundation, in 2021 the Greeley Stampede donated more than $26,000 to the fund.

Listed as a Top-25 Pro Rodeo according to purse size, the Stampede is famous for having a topnotch performance and contestants. The Greeley Stampede Rodeo features nine exciting events during every performance: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin, Bull Riding and the Breakaway. Below are the top contestants from today’s performance with a chance to make it to the finals June 30th.

The action continues tomorrow at the 100th Greeley Stampede with fourth of the rodeo series and Military Appreciation day at the Stampede. Show a military ID, military dependent ID or come in uniform to receive one free park admission. The first 250 will also receive one free grandstands ticket to the 6/28 rodeo. Greeley Stampede tickets for PRCA ProRodeos, the SuperStars+ Concert Series and Demolition Derby are available online at www.greeleystampede.org, visiting the Stampede Ticket Office open Monday-Friday 10am-11pm during the event, or by calling 970-356-7787.
