I told you, b—!': Police claim a woman approaches a mother of three who is seated in a car in a hotel parking lot and shoots her

A 32-year-old woman approached a mother of three sitting in the passenger seat of a car parked in a Tennessee motel parking lot and opened fire, killing her, authorities said.

Jenae Bradley was arrested on a first-degree murder charge Tuesday in Memphis for the February death of Terrica Tabor, 29. The shooting took place around 9:45 p.m. on February 22 in the parking lot of the Star Lite Inn.

According to the criminal complaint, Tabor and her boyfriend and sister were sitting in a 2007 Ford Edge when they noticed a woman wearing a black-hooded coat watching them from a nearby stairwell. The sister later told investigators that the woman walked down the stairs and into the car.

The suspect allegedly approached Tabor on the passenger side of the car, raised his gun, and fired three shots inside. According to the victim’s sister, the suspect then yelled, “I told you, b—! I told you!” and ran away.

Police obtained images from the motel’s surveillance cameras and say they later identified Bradley as the shooter. Tabor’s sister identified Bradley in a photo lineup, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The affidavit did not specify a reason for the shooting. Detectives obtained the arrest warrant in the days after the shooting, but it’s unclear how Bradley evaded authorities for nearly five months.

Bradley was taken to Shelby County Jail, where she is currently being held on a $90,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday for a bond reduction hearing.

Tabor leaves behind three children.

“She was a good mom,” Tabor’s aunt told local Fox affiliate WHBG. “No one deserves to not be raised to lose their parents in such a tragedy.”

Tabor’s aunt stated that it was especially difficult for her eldest child, who is 10 years old and understands her mother’s death.

“It was the sharpest pain in my heart because I thought, what about the children?” she told me. “What about her kids?”
