Kid Rock Blasts Springsteen Over Trump Comments During European Tour

Kid Rock Slams Bruce Springsteen for Anti-Trump Comments Made in the U.K.: ‘What a Punk Move’

Kid Rock didn’t hold back when responding to Bruce Springsteen’s recent criticism of former President Donald Trump during a concert overseas. The “Born Free” singer called Springsteen’s remarks a “punk move,” especially since they were made while performing in the U.K.

Appearing on FOX & Friends Friday, Kid Rock accused Springsteen of trying to win favor with Hollywood elites by bashing Trump and his administration abroad.

“Just another person suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome at the highest level,” he told Steve Doocy. “To go over to Europe and badmouth our president — a guy who’s working his tail off for this country every day — that’s just weak. Thank God for him and everything his administration’s doing. But saying that overseas? Total punk move.”

“Working-Class Hero” Criticism

Kid Rock also took a jab at Springsteen’s public image, pointing out what he sees as a contradiction.

“This guy’s worth what — half a billion, maybe a billion dollars? And he’s out there acting like some working-class hero,” Kid Rock said. “To me, it just looks like he wants to stay in good standing with the Hollywood elite. Meanwhile, I’m proud to say I’m more like kryptonite to Hollywood.”

Springsteen’s Comments on Tour

Springsteen had kicked off his Land of Hope and Dreams tour in Manchester, England, where he didn’t shy away from political commentary. He slammed the Trump-era government, calling it “corrupt, incompetent, and treacherous.”

“In the America I love — the one I’ve written songs about — a country that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, we now have a government that’s persecuting people for exercising free speech and turning its back on our allies while cozying up to dictators,” Springsteen told the crowd.

Kid Rock Defends Trump’s Foreign Policy Wins

Kid Rock fired back at those comments, calling them “garbage,” and pointed to Trump’s historic diplomatic efforts in the Middle East as proof of his leadership.

He highlighted Trump’s multi-billion-dollar trip across the Middle East, which included a massive $600 billion economic partnership with Saudi Arabia. The deal promised investments in U.S. energy infrastructure, AI data centers, advanced technology, and a $142 billion defense agreement — which the White House called the largest of its kind.

Trump claimed the Saudi deal could eventually hit $1 trillion and create up to 2 million American jobs.

Other Major Deals Abroad

In addition to Saudi Arabia, Trump also secured a $1.2 trillion economic exchange with Qatar, featuring a $96 billion aircraft purchase from Boeing and investments in energy and quantum tech.

Although that deal was somewhat overshadowed by Qatar’s controversial offer to “gift” Trump a new Air Force One, the administration also expanded on a $1.4 trillion agreement with the UAE. That included another $200 billion in commercial deals between Washington and Abu Dhabi.

“He’s over there creating peace in the Middle East,” Kid Rock said. “That region could explode at any moment, but he’s making real progress. That’s huge.”

“This guy doesn’t know how to lose,” he added. “He gets up every day and puts in the work for America. Thank God for him and the team he’s got.”

Promoting His Latest Project

Kid Rock also gave fans a sneak peek at his upcoming Rock N Rodeo special, airing during the PBR World Finals on Friday at 8 p.m. ET exclusively on Fox Nation.

“To me, it’s one of the last truly pro-American sports left — not all weighed down by woke politics,” he told Doocy. “Thankfully, that stuff seems to be on its way out of sports.
