The Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association (LOTRA) hosted the iconic 129th Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days Rodeo on July 3 and July 4 in Lander, Wyoming. This rodeo is considered the “grand-daddy of them all”, as the oldest paid rodeo in the world. Over $26,000 was paid out to winning contestants. The Pioneer Days Rodeo has the great advantage of having excellent stock contractors “just down the road” who provide the quality rough stock. Thanks to Wind River Rodeo Co. and Jace Mitchell for the rough stock, and to Hoggan Rodeo Co. for the timed event cattle.
LOTRA thanks our sponsors, contestants, Pioneer Days Royalty, stock contractors, service contractors, committee members, amazing volunteers and LOTRA board members and membership for all the support it takes to run a successful 2-day rodeo. The Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days Rodeo results are on the LOTRA Facebook page, and on the https://lotra.org/ website.
