New 44-Unit Townhome Development Set to Transform Wyoming, Michigan Neighborhood

New 44-Unit Townhome Community Coming to Wyoming, Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A brand-new townhome community is on its way to Wyoming, Michigan, offering a fresh housing option just north of M-6.

Wheeler Development Group (WDG) has officially broken ground on Wilson Crossings Townhomes, a 44-unit project located on a five-acre lot at 4087 64th Street. The community will feature a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhomes, designed with comfort and convenience in mind.

Each home will offer upscale features like granite countertops, gas appliances, fireplaces, basements, and attached garages. Some units will also include fenced-in pet yards. Residents will enjoy shared amenities such as a green space, a community pavilion, and a pet park—ideal for those seeking a balance between privacy and community.

“We’re excited to bring this project to the growing Wyoming community,” said Jason Wheeler, partner at WDG Construction. “The Wilson Crossings area has great amenities, job opportunities, and diverse housing. These townhomes are perfect for people looking for more space in a peaceful, lower-density setting with features you’d typically find in a single-family home.”

The 44 homes will be built across 11 separate buildings. WDG plans to start pre-leasing in July, with the first units ready by winter 2025. The full development is expected to be completed by summer 2026.

WDG President Ryan Wheeler highlighted the increasing demand for this type of housing. “We’ve seen a strong interest in boutique townhome communities like this one. Today’s groundbreaking reflects our commitment to collaboration, quality, and the neighborhoods we serve. We’re excited to bring Wilson Crossings Townhomes to life.”

WDG is also behind several other successful townhome communities in West Michigan, including Michigan Meadows, Evergreen Townhomes, Meadowood Townhomes, Hanover of Caledonia, and The Knoll Townhomes of Ada.
