(Riverton, WY) –  On Tuesday, September 23, at 6 p.m., the Fremont County School District 25 Board of Trustees will convene in the Board Chambers located at 121 North Fifth Street West in Riverton.

Prior to finalizing the budget for the 2026–2027 school year, the board is asked to consider “a comprehensive review of all currently district-sanctioned clubs, as well as any newly submitted club proposals,” according to the consent agenda.

Later in the meeting, on first reading, the board will also consider adopting Policy 6100-R, “Request for Approval of a New School Activity.”

Other action items on the agenda include:

approve an out-of-state travel requests for the Riverton High School Family Career and Community Leaders of America students to travel to Washington, D.C., in November for the FCCLA Capitol Leadership conference

approve two change orders totaling almost $35,000 combined for the RHS Auditorium Project

acknowledge and accept the Most Cost-Effective Remedy Study recommendation to construct a new K-5 elementary school to replace the existing Rendezvous Elementary School

accept the $10,000 Fiscal Year 2026 Fremont County Board of Cooperative Educational Services Preschool Grant for preschool salaries, professional development, supplies, and materials

offer a contract to Kelli Gard as an RHS Assistant Cheer Coach

Scott McBride will provide the board with an update on Aspen Elementary School during the round table portion of the meeting.

Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are also stored.
