RMBA Newsletter | Sept. 20, 2022

School back in session, fall heading at us, and the Rocky Mountain Breeder’s Association (RMBA) has one big in-person event still remaining on the roster. It is one you won’t want to miss as it is both the wrap up for the current year and the beginning of laying the foundation for 2023.

Annual Membership Meeting & Year End Awards Banquet

What is this wonderous event, you may ask? It is the Annual Membership Meeting & Year End Awards Banquet. Not only do you get to enjoy good food, you can visit with old friends, meet new people, and
network. Here are the details you’ll need to make the most of the event:

Date: Saturday, October 29, 2022 Time: 1:00 p.m.; Where: Pass Creek Community Center, Belgrade,
Montana – the center is located at the corner of Rocky Mountain Road and Pass Creek Road, plenty of
good parking; Potluck: RMBA is furnishing the prime rib, potatoes, and non-alcoholic drinks – want
something with a little more kick, it is BYOB / potluck dishes are divided by last name A-K, bring a side
dish while L-Z bring a dessert.

cowgirlruth@gmail.com. Bringing family and/or friends? Include them on the RSVP, too.

At the meeting we’ll cover the year, programs, ideas to promote the RMBA, start laying the foundation
for 2023, and vote for the three open directorships: 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Director-at-Large. Terms are a 2-year term.

Interested in throwing your hat in the ring for one of the directorships? Get your name on the list by
contacting Ruth Hall at (970) 556-4131.

Don’t miss out on e-mail content!

For those on our email distribution list, watch your email for an upcoming e-blast where you can find the
specifics in more detail for the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet. You’ll also see minutes from last year’s Annual Meeting included in that e-blast. Not on the RMBA e-blast list? Contact Jan to be added
for relevant information at the contact information in the previous paragraph.

Wrap up the day with one of the best parts of the year, the awards presentation! As we see each year,
the Year End High Point races are hot! A lot of amazing rides made throughout the season! Who will
bring home the top awards? Come to the banquet to find out. Cheer everyone on!

Living in Montana, we all know Mother Nature can give us the most glorious of weather or she can
thump us around the ears but good with a terrific storm. Keep your eyes on the RMBA Meta / Facebook
page at “Rocky Mountain Breeders Association.” There you’ll find the up-to-the-minute changes
regarding weather phenomenon if it is necessary. The safety and wellbeing of all our members and
guests is primary.
