LIMA, Ohio – A suspect who had been on the run for three years has returned to Allen County to face charges in a stabbing that seriously injured a woman.
Juan Fuentes, 62, was extradited from Tampa, Florida, on a warrant for felonious assault stemming from an October 2022 incident in the 100 block of South Central Avenue.
Police say Fuentes was arguing with Catsonava Maloy when he allegedly pulled out an edge weapon and stabbed her multiple times in the neck.
Fuentes fled the scene following the attack. He is currently being held in the Allen County Jail under a $1 million bond.
