A FAMOUS TikTok user who went missing was tragically discovered dead, her body dismembered.
The remains of Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Piña, a teen influencer, were discovered cut up and placed in bags near a water treatment plant in Lima, Peru.
Cops identified the TikToker based on her distinctive tattoos, which included the phrase “Love me for who I am” in English on her arm.
They suspect she was strangled before being dismembered.
They suspect it is a vengeful act committed by her ex-boyfriend’s family or close circle, who died in 2022 under mysterious circumstances.
Fabiola, who is originally from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, left her home country in 2022 at the age of 16.
She was accompanied by her then-boyfriend, Mayner Yoffrey Giménez Castillo, who is 21 years her senior.
When they arrived in Lima, they shared a rental flat in the Huaycán district, where Mayner was discovered dead months later.
His death was ruled a suicide, but his family refused to believe he killed himself. They accused Fabiola of killing him.
She went on to live her life in Lima, working in bars and nightclubs, despite never having been officially investigated.
According to local media reports, a Venezuelan mafia gang threatened to make her “pay” for Mayner’s death.
According to police, she was tricked into leaving a party on false pretenses the night before she died.
According to some reports, she was tortured, with cigarette burns on her legs and feet, before being killed.
Her remains were allegedly dumped in the Rímac River and ended up at a water treatment plant.
Detectives are still reviewing CCTV footage and collecting statements from those who knew Fabiola.
There have been no arrests yet, but local media report that significant breakthroughs are expected in the coming days.
