(Rock Springs, WY) – Due to improved conditions, the Bureau of Land Management High Desert District Office has lifted stage 1 fire restrictions on BLM public lands in Teton, Sublette, Lincoln, Uinta, Sweetwater, Carbon, Albany, Fremont, and Laramie counties, effective September 17, 2025.
The High Desert District Office Fire Prevention Order BLM-WY-D00000-2025-01 has been terminated. The BLM asks that the public and visitors to public lands stay alert for changes in fire activity and always practice outdoor fire safety.
