CASPER, Wyo. — Central Wyoming can expect a textbook mild weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Friday will be sunny with a high temperature of 74 degrees and light breezes.
Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs reaching the upper 70s and low 80s. Saturday’s breezes will be gentle, with blustery winds returning on Sunday. Wind gusts of up to 21 mph are expected.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Monday and Tuesday, with intermittent partly sunny skies. The NWS in Riverton predicted at least 50% chance of precipitation on Monday. A high of 67 degrees is expected on Monday.
Sunny and calm conditions may return by midweek.
