This Fame Is On Fire (Fire Water Flit X Famous Silk Panties) will be headed to his new home on The Rodeo Ranch after wrapping up breeding season at High Point Performance Horses. This Fame Is On Fire is a 11 year old Chestnut Stallion by the legendary Fire Water Flit (Progeny earnings over $5 million) and out of one of the most winningest futurity mares of all times, Famous Silk Panties (Dash Ta Fame X Martinis and Bikinis (Bully Bullion) LTE $287,000). Standing at 15.1 and weighing in around 1250, this handsome gentleman is perfect for any discipline. The DeLanceys have him slated for rope horse training around August 1st with rope horse futurity trainer, Zane Thompson of T2 Performance Horses in Cheyenne, WY, but until then, Ryann Pedone will be riding and tuning up “Drip” and will bring him to Cheyenne from Texas when she heads north this summer.
“To add a horse like “Drip” to our program is a dream come true,” says new owner Cindy DeLancey. We were just so impressed with the stud colt that was born by him this year out of one of our mares; we knew we had to add him to our program when we learned he was available for purchase. There are only a hand full of Ruby Buckle Stallions that call Wyoming home and it is such an honor for us to bring him to the ranch and to our breeding program. We are incredibly grateful to Becky Barton for this opportunity,” continued Cindy.
This Fame Is On Fire comes from the Raise The Bar Performance Horse, LLC program under the direction of Beck Barton of Vicksburg, MI and has been a resident stallion at High Point Performance Horses for several years. The stout and handsome gentleman has been ridden by industry giants like Troy Crumrine and Jimmy Smith Tew and you will likely see him at the fall college rodeos and incentive events being ridden by Raegen DeLancey. Raegen DeLancey has been sidelined due to a severe shoulder injury this spring that required surgery and a 6-month recovery time. “To add Drip to my string of horses is something I am looking forward to. I love his style on the barrels and I can’t wait to run him. I am so grateful to Becky Barton and my parents,” Raegen explained.

The other stallions that call the Rodeo Ranch home are Heza Fiery Fling 2015 Bay Roan Stallion (LTE $30,000+) who is a son of A Streak of Fling and out of a producing mare Sheza Firen Bully (Bully Bullion X Kachina Firewater), Fiestas Dynasty 2012 Gray Stallion (FDD Dynasty X Firewater Fiesta, LTE $800k+) who is an AQHA reserve world champion Jr. head horse that was raised by Jud Little and shown by JD Yates and Kelly Yates. All three of these stallions have Fire Water Flit on their papers. There is also a fourth stallion coming up on the ranch. That is Jr. Stallion Stingin N Flashin 2020 Chestnut stallion by Feel The Sting and out of a daughter of CS Flashlight. “Stinger” has started his training by being ridden by Emilio Vega and will continue be used on the ranch and will start on the barrels with Rodeo Ranch in house trainer, Aften Peterson.
The DeLanceys are current running a late season breeding special through June 30th if you wish to breed a mare this season to This Fame Is On Fire. Contact Cindy DeLancey at 307-331-2115 or cldelancey@gmail.com for more information.
