The Wyoming State Fair is proud to announce its collaboration with Tough Enough to Wear Pink, Wrangler, and the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer outreach, education and support. Thursday, August 17, 2023 PRCA Rodeo fans will fill the stands sporting their pink for Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night at the 111th Wyoming State Fair and Rodeo.

“We invite you to join us at the Wyoming State Fair PRCA Rodeo on August 17th as we proudly stand alongside the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative. Wearing pink is more than a gesture; it’s a symbol of our strength and unity in the fight against breast cancer.” said Courtny Conkle, State Fair General Manager.

The evening’s lineup begins at 6:00 pm with World Champion Mutton Bustin’ where young cowboys and cowgirls compete to see who can hang on to their mutton the longest. 7:00 pm will mark the start of the Tough Enough to Wear Pink PRCA Rodeo performance. Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2024 will be crowned during the Thursday night performance!

This collaboration will help raise awareness and fund breast cancer programs in Wyoming. During the rodeo, Tough Enough to Wear Pink merch will be available for purchase under the Ford Grandstand Arena. A pair of chinks will be auctioned off during the performance with proceeds benefiting the breast cancer initiative. The Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative is dedicated to increasing educational opportunities, providing financial assistance and supporting patients and survivors. The WBCI is proud to provide free breast screenings, diagnostic exams and biopsies to any Wyoming resident regardless of age, gender, income or insurance status.

Are you tough enough to wear pink to the evening’s performance? Show your support for the cause by joining button busters and rodeo personnel in wearing pink to Thursday nights performance.
