Wapakoneta – The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Wapakoneta Post is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred on June 13, 2025, at 3:19 p.m. in Auglaize County, Ohio. The collision occurred on US Route 33 near Townline Kossuth Road.
William L. Myers, 81, of Saint Marys, Ohio, was driving a 2002 Lincoln Continental. Brian W. McDonald, 46, of Battle Creek, Michigan, was driving a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder.
Tiffany C. McDonald, 47, and Anahlea C. McDonald, 9, both from Battle Creek, Michigan, were passengers in the Nissan.
According to preliminary findings, the Lincoln was traveling north on Townline Kossuth Road, while the Nissan was traveling west on US Route 33. The Lincoln failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, and was hit by the Nissan.
Both vehicles then slid off the right side of US Route 33 westbound, colliding with several traffic signs. The Nissan flipped onto its top.
Myers was wearing a safety belt. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Saint Rita’s Medical Center by Saint Marys EMS. All of the Nissan’s occupants were wearing safety belts. Tiffany C. McDonald was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital by Saint Marys EMS.
The Saint Marys Police Department, Saint Marys Fire Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation all responded to the crash.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash.
