Wyoming and West Wyoming Unite: Celebrate Memorial Day with a Spectacular Parade Event

The annual Wyoming-West Wyoming Memorial Day Parade kicked off promptly at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, drawing crowds that lined the streets to honor and remember.

Among the highlights was Carmen Falcone from Pittston, who proudly drove his meticulously restored Army Willy’s Jeep, adding a historic touch to the celebration.

Following the parade, the community gathered at the Wyoming Cemetery for the Memorial Day program, where West Wyoming Mayor Randy Colarusso officially opened the event with heartfelt remarks.

The program featured a powerful speech by Vietnam Veteran Maj. Maurice Azain, Jr. (Ret.), who connected deeply with attendees as he pointed to a fellow comrade in the crowd, underscoring the lasting bonds of service and sacrifice.

This cherished Wyoming and West Wyoming tradition not only honors those who served but also brings the community together in remembrance and respect.
