WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage girl who may have connections to or potential travel plans involving Wyoming.
Authorities are searching for Angelina Prowitt Rodriguez, a 16-year-old girl who was last seen near the intersection of Hazle Street and Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds.
At the time of her disappearance, Angelina was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, with her hair styled in a bun. She was also carrying a large tote bag featuring big white lettering on the side.
Given the ongoing investigation, police have not ruled out the possibility that Angelina may be attempting to travel out of state — including to Wyoming, where she may have acquaintances or family.
