Wyoming Democratic leaders continued their tour through the Cowboy State by visiting Banner

Democratic state Representative Karlee Provenza of Laramie, the minority whip, and Minority Floor Leader Rep. Mike Yin of Jackson will hold a town hall meeting at Kearney Hall in Banner.

Yin stated that the lawmakers have already visited four Wyoming communities as part of their statewide tour, with the objective of learning about the challenges each region faces and bringing those issues to the legislative floor.

According to Yin, the discussions were effective in uncovering Wyoming residents’ worries. He stated that the workshop-style structure has allowed participants to feel heard and discuss the problems that are most important to them.

The town hall with Provenza and Yin will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24 at Kearney Hall in Banner. Attendance is open to all residents, regardless of party affiliation. The event is one of a number of listening sessions planned throughout the state.
