PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Luzerne County — Firefighters faced a challenging morning after a house fire reignited hours after it was first extinguished early Tuesday.
The initial call came around 3:30 a.m. to 425 Curry Hill Road, where crews quickly responded to a fire at a residential property. However, just after 9 a.m., the fire unexpectedly flared back up, prompting crews to return to the scene to contain the blaze once again.
Black smoke was visible for miles as firefighters battled the flames, working diligently to prevent further damage. Fortunately, Plymouth Fire Department Chief Josh Evans confirmed there were no injuries reported.

For safety reasons, Curry Hill Road remained closed while emergency crews managed the situation.
