A motorcycle rider died in a three-vehicle accident in South Boise on Monday morning.
A 49-year-old man was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on South Pleasant Valley Road at 6:59 a.m. when he collided with the back of a dump truck attempting to turn near the West Hollilynn Drive intersection, according to a news release from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
“The motorcyclist landed in the oncoming northbound traffic lane, where he collided with a cement truck traveling in the northbound lane,” according to the sheriff’s office.
According to the news release, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt, according to law enforcement.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once the family has been notified.
