Reverse 53 Performance Horses

Reverse 53 Performance Horses is comprised of Jedd and Joelle Christian and their 3 children. They pride themselves in offering versatile rope horses that have worked on their ranch in Wyoming and have been polished and seasoned at their winter training facility in Arizona. The horses that wear a reverse 53 on their hip have been used extensively outside gathering, sorting, doctoring and are no strangers to a long day o the mountain. They have real work experience and appreciate a day in the arena chasing steers, loping soft circles and working on the performance side of their training. Being hauled all over the nation and competing at World Series ropings, US ropings, futurities and rodeos is part of their resumes with a focus on the Riata Buckle and Royal Crown futurities.

Jedd is a third generation Lander local who grew up running a cow/calf operation, starting colts and doing anything he could involving a horse. He is an accomplished team roper and has had a successful start in the team roping futurties. Winning 3rd in his division at the world finals in 2021, Jedd proved his training ability on a 4-year-old head horse, Metallic Mint, who had only 8 months of rope horse training at the time of the futurity. Adding more futurity horses to his competition lineup and producing the highest quality of rope horses is Jedd’s main training focus.

Joelle is from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is a 2x Canadian National Champion Reiner and has won the Western Canadian Finals seventeen times. At a young age, she was competing in the open classes against trainers twice her age and was setting arena records on a horse she made. Her passion for competing is what drives her to sharpen her roping skills and her reining training is a valuable asset to the rope horses.
