AMMON, Idaho — The city of Ammon is banding together to help one of its own. Mayor Sean Coletti has declared today, September 8th, Tanner Scoresby Day, in honor of a local teen fighting a rare and aggressive type of blood cancer.
Tanner Scoresby, an 18-year-old Thunder Ridge High School graduate, has been a positive presence in the community despite his battle with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. After months of intensive chemotherapy, he is now preparing for a three-week stem cell procedure.
Tanner and his family will face significant financial and emotional challenges as they progress through the next phase of their treatment. The mayor and other city leaders are encouraging all residents to show their support for Tanner, describing him as a truly inspiring example of strength and resilience for his friends and community.
